This year our scholarships were awarded at the Victory Gala Fundraiser for the Silversides Submarine Museum.  It was a great event with some appropriate dress, cocktails, dinner, awards, silent auction and even a start of the submarine by a lucky raffle winner!

                                    Four academic scholarships were awarded this year.  The following were the recipients:

                                   * Madison Beatty:  Pursuing studies to become a Physician Assistant at Central Michigan Univ.

                                    *Robert Reno:   Attending Muskegon Community College in Nursing

                                    *Idris McCoy:  Plans to attend Flight Training School

                                    *William Gill:   To pursue Japanese studies.
